Child Protection

As a result of chaos, warfare and disasters, children form the largest victim group. The threats to the welfare and security of these children cause disastrous effects on their future.  According to the 2012 State of Pakistan’s Children report released by Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child (SPARC), 25 million children are out of school, 12 million are engaged in labor while around 618 newborn babies die every day in the country. No wonder then that the state of children in Pakistan “dismal” and “deteriorating”.

Community helps Community (CHC) has a clear stance regarding child protection.  CHC wants to promote and create a protective environment which ensures their protection against all forms of violence, negligence, abuse, discrimination and exploitation. The organization understands the situation of children rights in Pakistan and is eager to do everything possible to rectify the situation.
